Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance)

What you will do

• Manage client relationships and deliver timely service for an assigned commercial insurance book of business.
• Respond to client and carrier requests and independently resolve issues and discrepancies.
• Coordinate renewal strategies with sales executives and prepare insurance summaries.
• Prepare carrier submissions, analyze quotations, and develop accurate client proposals.
• Maintain agency management system data integrity, prioritize workloads, and follow agency procedures.
• Review insurance requirements, issue non-standard certificates, track outstanding items, and collaborate with clients, carriers, and colleagues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with commercial lines coverage and underwriting, including technical knowledge of coverage forms and risk alternatives.
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical, interpersonal, project management, and customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and job-related software, including basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License in Pennsylvania required. Insurance designation preferred.
