Market Construction Manager - Rehab

Location: Irving, TX, United States; onsite role involving worksite oversight and coordination with city inspectors.

Salary: $100,553–$125,668 annually, plus eligibility for quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Lead and review the day-to-day rehabilitation work for an assigned portfolio of single-family homes.
• Evaluate construction scopes and vendor bids, participate in negotiations, and maintain work within approved budgets and timelines.
• Set rehabilitation and design strategies, establish schedules, monitor costs, and oversee projects through completion.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections, document findings, resolve recurring issues, and ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, building codes, and regulations.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, city inspectors, Construction, and Property Management teams.
• Prepare market performance reports, monitor industry trends, and implement process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Site or Construction Superintendent or in a related role.
• At least 2 years of experience managing or leading direct reports; experience rehabilitating single-family homes in a corporate environment is preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of construction, plumbing, electrical, heating systems, and drywall installation.
• Experience with underwriting, MLS, property valuation or appraisal, trustee sales, escrow transactions, and real estate tools.
• Valid driver's license, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Dynamics CRM proficiency, plus strong communication, planning, budgeting, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
