Senior Manufacturing Engineer

hirify.global is integrating Kalwall Enterprises, a vertically integrated manufacturer of high-performance translucent daylighting solutions, into its Architectural Glass segment.

What you will do

• Design, develop, propose, and implement manufacturing process and equipment improvements focused on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and equipment for in-house fabrication by the machine shop.
• Specify and procure capital equipment in collaboration with outside suppliers.
• Lead projects, solve complex manufacturing problems, and drive creative problem-solving initiatives.
• Implement root-cause corrective actions with cross-functional teams and provide hands-on technical support for manufacturing operations and maintenance.
• Create and maintain detailed drawings, manufacturing work instructions, and maintenance procedures while collaborating with Sales Service, Estimating, R&D, and Drafting.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Proficiency in CAD, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience evaluating, building, and troubleshooting manufacturing processes, machinery, and production lines.
• Experience troubleshooting control components and motion systems in automated equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, scheduling, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with assembly, CNC machining, testing, heat treating, bending, welding, or finishing.
• Experience with building materials, curtain walls, storefronts, windows, composites, or sandwich panels.
