Salary: $180,600–$289,300 USD per year, with potential eligibility for bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do
- Advise business teams on developing and deploying commercial and money movement products and services, including Direct, Commercial Solutions, and Government Solutions.
- Provide legal guidance on commercial, regulatory, intellectual property, privacy, and contracting considerations.
- Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and review product marketing, public relations, and corporate communications materials.
- Assess regulatory developments and their potential impact on and its partners.
- Collaborate with regional legal and business teams to resolve local and international issues and maintain consistent approaches.
- Coordinate and supervise outside counsel when required.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or qualifying experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
- J.D. degree or international equivalent, with a valid license to practice in the job location or the ability to become state-registered in-house counsel in good standing.
- Experience in payments, financial services, technology, or fintech, including transactional work and commercial agreement negotiation.
- Financial regulatory experience and knowledge of privacy and competition laws.
- Strong analytical, organizational, client counseling, negotiation, business judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage complex legal and regulatory initiatives in the U.S. and internationally while handling multiple clients and priorities.
