Senior Robotics Software Engineer

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite attendance is required

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year, plus a bonus of up to 10%

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test robot applications for cleanroom robotics.
• Evaluate and implement advanced technology solutions for semiconductor applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external customers on software specifications and robotic solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Manage multiple high-stakes projects and contribute to continuous software improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of mechatronics-related experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Python, C, C++, or similar programming languages.
• Passion for robotics or mechatronic systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate complex concepts to varied audiences.
• Ability to carry, lift, push, and pull objects up to 25 lb, as well as bend, walk, and stand.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering with an emphasis on robotics or mechatronics.
• Experience with motion control applications in robotics or automation.
