Systems Engineering Co-Op (Spring - Summer 2027)

Location: East Syracuse, New York, United States

Compensation: $20.27–$22.30 per hour, plus a sign-on bonus that may help offset housing expenses for co-ops living outside the typical commuting distance.

What you will do

• Support system integration in laboratory and operational environments.
• Perform system and data analysis and propose solutions to customer problems.
• Generate and investigate problem reports.
• Participate in technical reviews and status meetings.
• Apply engineering or science coursework to Aerobahn and Digital Tower products and services.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
• Be enrolled in an accredited engineering or related degree program.
• Have completed at least the sophomore year and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Systematically evaluate data and perform basic data analysis.
• Have software programming or scripting experience and be able to read and understand code.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, teamwork, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Relational database and SQL experience.
• Familiarity with Unix-based systems, including Linux.
• Experience with Java, C#, or Python.
• Knowledge of HTML, web or mobile development technologies, hardware interfaces, communication protocols, or trade studies.
