Process Tech / Sample & Logistics Coordinator

Location: Central Tech Unit, Plymouth, MI, United States. Onsite role with a standard schedule of 7:00 AM–4:00 PM and some flexibility.

The Central Tech Unit supports test lab and validation operations involving samples, fixtures, and lab equipment.

What you will do

• Receive incoming samples and shipments, scan and log materials, and distribute them to the appropriate locations.
• Coordinate the movement of samples, fixtures, and equipment between labs, storage areas, and teardown locations.
• Maintain organized storage areas and manage fixture inventory to ensure equipment availability.
• Coordinate outbound shipments to long-term storage and warehouse facilities, including documentation and tracking.
• Support sample removal from fixtures and respond to material movement requests from lab and validation teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve storage organization and material flow efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to follow established processes and contribute to process improvements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Forklift operation experience.
