Advanced Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Illinois, United States; hybrid

Salary: $103,000–$155,000 per year, plus an annual performance bonus and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and operate cloud-based services that process data at scale across multiple platforms.
• Build full-stack product features using .NET/C#, React/JavaScript, and SQL.
• Develop integrations with third-party cloud data sources, notification providers, internal services, and cross-team APIs.
• Plan and execute production service and data migrations, including schema changes and deployment transitions.
• Apply Azure cloud-native patterns such as containerization, event-driven architecture, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, investigate production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to incident response.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET, or a comparable object-oriented language with willingness to learn the stack.
• Experience building and operating cloud-based services and working with relational databases and SQL.
• Ability to independently develop complex features and debug production issues.
• Availability for a hybrid role in Illinois, United States.

Nice to have

• JavaScript/TypeScript and React experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tooling.
• Familiarity with New Relic, Splunk, or equivalent observability platforms.
• Experience with OAuth2, OIDC, or SAML authentication patterns.
• Experience with third-party APIs, enterprise SaaS integrations, containerization, event-driven design, or infrastructure-as-code.
