Senior Third Party Risk Manager

Location: Hybrid position based in Denver, Colorado, with three days in the office each week from Tuesday through Thursday. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annually, plus potential eligibility for an annual bonus of 12.5%.

What you will do

• Manage third-party risk for an assigned business portfolio throughout planning, due diligence, contracting, transition, monitoring, and exit.
• Partner with business managers, subject matter experts, providers, and affiliates to develop third-party risk strategies.
• Conduct control risk assessments, identify weaknesses, document remediation plans, and monitor actions through resolution.
• Ensure risk activities and control weaknesses are addressed before contract execution or formally accepted by appropriate management.
• Educate business owners, provide training, and lead performance scorecards and other risk management artifacts.
• Analyze portfolios, maintain risk systems and databases, and report industry trends and emerging risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience in third-party risk management, operational risk, or compliance.
• Thorough understanding of process management and control environments.
• Strong analytical, written, oral communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in the Denver office three days per week.

Nice to have

• Certified Third Party Risk Professional, International Association of Outsourcing Professionals, Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager, or another recognized industry certification.
• Experience with Visio, Microsoft Project, Tableau, or Microsoft Access.
