What you will do

• Develop and deliver external communications strategies aligned with business and brand objectives.
• Build thought leadership programmes, media narratives, and executive visibility initiatives.
• Manage relationships with journalists, commentators, industry influencers, and external PR agencies.
• Translate complex technical, regulatory, and security topics into clear communications.
• Develop social media strategies and content calendars across LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
• Establish performance frameworks, monitor coverage and engagement metrics, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in corporate communications, external communications, public relations, corporate affairs, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering B2B communications and thought leadership programmes.
• Strong media relations, writing, editing, storytelling, executive communications, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience managing agencies and measuring communications effectiveness through analytics and performance data.
• Knowledge of SEO and AI-driven search and discovery, including GEO and AEO principles.
• A proactive, innovative, commercially minded approach to communications.

Nice to have

• Experience in a complex, regulated, technology, engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, defence, or security-related environment.
