Hindi Audio Transcriptionist (AI Training)

What you will do

• Transcribe Hindi audio accurately in Devanagari using provided style and formatting guidelines.
• Interpret challenging recordings with crosstalk, overlapping speakers, filled pauses, background noise, and varying audio quality.
• Identify and label multiple speakers consistently.
• Apply precise punctuation, notation, and formatting conventions.
• Flag unclear audio segments and maintain accuracy across large volumes of content.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.

Requirements

• Native or near-native Hindi fluency, including familiarity with dialects and colloquial expressions.
• Exceptional listening skills and the ability to parse noisy, fast-paced, or overlapping speech.
• Strong typing skills and accuracy in Hindi Devanagari script.
• Detail-oriented, patient, self-motivated, and reliable when working independently.
• Ability to follow detailed style guides and formatting rules consistently.
• Quiet workspace and reliable internet connection.

Nice to have

• Professional transcription, subtitle editing, or closed-captioning experience.
• Background in linguistics, language studies, or phonetics.
• Experience with annotation platforms, data labeling tools, or AI training projects.
• Familiarity with transcription software or audio editing tools.
• Experience handling multi-speaker or interview-format audio.
