Analytics Engineer (Middle)

Location: Hybrid in Limassol, Cyprus

What you will do

• Build and maintain unified systems for processing, storing, validating, and presenting data.
• Design and develop data flows covering the full pipeline from data capture to consumer presentation.
• Develop and maintain big data storage and processing infrastructure with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Create and optimize REST and gRPC APIs for high-load data access services.
• Write integration and unit tests and build automation for data validation and alerting.
• Contribute to system design and architecture with the data engineering team.

Requirements

• Advanced Python proficiency and strong experience developing ETL processes with PySpark.
• Experience developing data flows with Airflow 2.
• Expertise in SQL, including complex queries and optimization.
• Industrial experience with Kubernetes and understanding of Spark or Flink.
• Knowledge of programming principles, design patterns, OOP, modularity, and software architecture.
• Ability to take ownership of technologies or services and contribute ideas proactively.
