Editorial Content Manager

Location: Santa Monica, California, United States

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 annual base salary, plus equity and annual bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead content strategy for the Impact team and develop long-form and short-form storytelling assets supporting the mission of The Awesome Humans Foundation.
• Collaborate with Marketing to integrate Impact content into the overall marketing strategy and calendar.
• Develop and execute an in-house podcast, including content planning, talent planning, and audience amplification.
• Expand hirify.global catalogs into a more editorial magazine format and lead editorial production for coffee table books.
• Develop a long-term media expansion strategy covering a multi-podcast network and unscripted television.
• Work directly with the Narrative Director and partner with Impact, Marketing, and Growth teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of editorial experience, preferably in digital media, blogs, articles, and long-form storytelling.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, Communications, or Journalism.
• Experience with written, audio, and visual storytelling.
• Knowledge of print media production.
• Experience managing and editing freelance contributors.
• Strong independent problem-solving, collaboration, attention to detail, adaptability, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
