Plant Technician - Manufacturing

Location: Browns Summit, North Carolina, at the Greensboro Procter & Gamble manufacturing plant

Starting pay: $25.38 per hour, plus an additional $0.50–$2.00 per hour depending on the work schedule.

What you will do

• Operate high-speed production lines, packing equipment, and automated manufacturing systems.
• Control production processes through computer terminals and maintain production flow.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
• Maintain accurate operational records and data.
• Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and hand trucks.
• Support production performance, product quality, safety, and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.
• Ability to operate, maintain, and clean automated equipment.
• Strong technical, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work day or night shifts and meet the physical requirements, including lifting 50 pounds, climbing, standing for extended periods, and entering confined spaces.
