What you will do

• Own the daily profitability of the petroleum trading book and procure cost-effective products for marketing.
• Trade and hedge petroleum derivatives, swaps, futures, and physical products in line with risk policy.
• Identify and negotiate new exchanges, term purchases, rack deals, throughputs, and other supply opportunities.
• Develop strategies to increase supply profitability and expand current and new markets.
• Prepare management and risk/return reports and collaborate with Risk Management to improve processes and reporting.
• Lead Supply and Trading involvement in projects, acquisitions, and commercial analysis of new assets and businesses.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of industry experience in clean product supply, NGL, crude, residual fuel, bunkers, trading, exchanges, scheduling, terminals, logistics, or product blending.
• Proven petroleum trading profitability, established industry relationships, and experience trading with principals and brokers.
• Experience in petroleum derivatives, swaps, futures, physical products, supply marketing, and hedging.
• Back-office experience in credit, risk management, or finance; knowledge of Right Angle or Solarc is an advantage.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.

• Knowledge of refinery operations.
• Knowledge of NEFI, NORA, RFS2, EPA, and state regulations.
