Payroll Specialist (Vendor Management)

Location: Asturias, Spain; flexible home office opportunities are available.

hirify.global is a global company specializing in taste, scent, nutrition, and natural solutions, with this position supporting its Food Ingredients business unit.

What you will do

• Coordinate day-to-day payroll operations for the UK and selected TMF-managed EMEA countries.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, processing activities, validations, outputs, and issue resolution with TMF and other payroll vendors.
• Validate payroll data, statutory reporting, country-specific requirements, and payroll deliverables.
• Review payroll exceptions, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate timely resolution across countries and vendors.
• Maintain payroll documentation, process maps, controls, vendor handoffs, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor vendor performance and support internal controls, audits, compliance reviews, governance, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience supporting Belgium payroll operations; Netherlands payroll exposure is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation, social security requirements, statutory reporting, and country-specific obligations.
• Working knowledge of Netherlands payroll practices or the ability to support Netherlands payroll through vendor partnership.
• Experience with outsourced payroll providers, payroll controls, compliance, issue resolution, and problem-solving.
• Experience in manufacturing, unionized, or labor-intensive environments, including collective bargaining agreements or labor unions.
• Strong business English required; Dutch and/or French capability is preferred depending on final country coverage.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting payroll operations across both Belgium and the Netherlands.
• Experience with ADP, TMF, Workday, or similar payroll and HR technology platforms.
• Experience with carve-outs, business separations, mergers, acquisitions, or transformation initiatives.
• Experience with payroll automation, standardization, documentation, or multi-country operating models.
