Software Engineer (Mid to Senior Level, .NET)

Location: Remote, work from home position; main office in Commerce Township, Michigan, United States

Salary: $100,000+ annually, based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses

What you will do

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Windows and web-based applications using Microsoft technologies and current engineering standards.
• Own complex features and systems from concept through production release, including estimation, planning, prioritization, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, support staff, customers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Research and resolve complex software defects and escalated customer issues while improving performance, quality, and maintainability through code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decisions, industry research, and engineering improvements.

Requirements

• Mid-level to senior software engineering experience, with 4+ years of professional development experience or equivalent expertise.
• Experience designing and implementing applications with C# and .NET.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, including SQL Server schema design and query optimization.
• Experience with modern web technologies and frameworks such as Angular or similar.
• Proficiency with Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; strong analytical, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
