Senior Cardiologist

What you will do

• Provide cardiology expertise to pharmaceutical sponsors on protocol design, cardiac safety and efficacy strategies, statistical analysis plans, expert reports, and regulatory representation.
• Serve as a cardiology liaison across internal departments and support cardiac solutions, safety consulting, compliance strategies, and therapeutic-area initiatives.
• Support Digital Physiology consulting, endpoint development, and client discussions for studies requiring cardiac safety or efficacy approaches.
• Interpret ECGs, Holters, patch-device data, stress tests, blood-pressure variability assessments, and related endpoints, including quality assurance and quality control.
• Improve ECG core-lab procedures and contribute to the development and validation of EXPERT and other hirify.global platforms.
• Support research collaborations with regulatory authorities, sponsor interactions involving statistical design and analysis, and scientific and medical affairs leadership.

Requirements

• MD degree.
• ABIM Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease; Canada-based candidates with active U.S. board certification are encouraged to apply.
• At least three years of pharmaceutical-industry experience as an employed cardiologist or consultant, particularly in early-phase development.
• Five or more years of clinical cardiology and electrocardiography experience preferred.
• Experience with concentration-effect modeling, ICH E14 guidance, QT-waiver reports, clinical pharmacology, and pharmaceutical sponsors is desirable.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to integrity and professionalism.

Nice to have

• Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology training.
• Experience authoring reports for QT waivers.
• Working knowledge of clinical pharmacology.
