Equipment & Electricity Manager (Automation)

What you will do

• Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes through automation initiatives that increase efficiency, reliability, and performance.
• Program, troubleshoot, maintain, integrate, and optimize PLC, HMI, electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Lead preventive maintenance and compliance activities for site electrical systems.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with electrical, instrumentation, and safety regulations.
• Manage instrumentation reliability and calibration programs to support accuracy and product quality.
• Analyze system performance data and contribute to engineering projects for manufacturing growth, modernization, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Practical Engineer or Technician qualification in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Automation, or Software Engineering.
• Valid Chief Electrician License required.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs, with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and control technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, control, and instrumentation schematics.
• Experience with Modbus TCP, Profibus, and Ethernet industrial communication protocols.
• High-level English proficiency required; flexibility to support operational needs outside standard working hours.

Nice to have

• Approximately five years of experience in a similar engineering or automation role in process manufacturing.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical, chemical, food, or biotechnology manufacturing operations.
• Continuous improvement and operational excellence experience.
