What you will do
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes through automation initiatives that increase efficiency, reliability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot automated systems and ensure alignment with engineering and design specifications.
- Integrate electrical systems, electronics, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control technologies.
- Support the design, programming, maintenance, and optimization of automation and control systems.
- Lead preventive maintenance for site electrical systems, coordinate regulatory compliance, and manage instrumentation reliability and calibration programs.
- Analyze system performance and contribute to engineering projects supporting modernization, manufacturing growth, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Practical Engineer or Technician qualification in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Automation, or Software Engineering.
- Valid Chief Electrician License required.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs, with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and control technologies.
- Ability to read electrical, control, and instrumentation schematics.
- Experience with Modbus TCP, Profibus, and Ethernet industrial communication protocols.
- High-level written and verbal English required. Approximately five years of similar engineering or automation experience is preferred, along with flexibility to support operational needs outside standard working hours.
