Portfolio Management Analyst - Investment Strategy

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; office environment with occasional travel of less than 10%.

What you will do

• Collect, produce, and organize quantitative information for portfolio decision-making using Aladdin, ClearWater Analytics, Bloomberg, Excel, and Power BI.
• Complete recurring analytical projects independently after initial training and support projects responding to market or portfolio-specific circumstances.
• Assist portfolio managers with historical, current, and potential asset-liability risk modeling and analysis.
• Analyze duration, convexity, credit, reinvestment, and liquidity risks within investment portfolios.
• Support benchmark construction, trade analysis, capital and yield positioning evaluation, and commentary on portfolio changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in fixed income investment analytics, insurance investments, or institutional asset management.
• Experience in a front-office investment role at a bank, hedge fund, asset management firm, or insurance company.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, and Clearwater Analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Ability to work in an office environment in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with occasional internal travel.
