Head of Marketing, Northeast Asia (Food)

Location: Tokyo Office, Japan; responsible for the Japan and Korea markets

A consumer goods company managing Heinz, Kraft, and Ore-Ida products across Retail and Foodservice markets.

What you will do

• Develop and execute marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, market share, and sales growth.
• Lead and manage approximately 20 marketing professionals across Japan and Korea.
• Oversee integrated campaigns across digital, print, television, social media, and other relevant channels.
• Conduct market research, analyze consumer trends and competitors, and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with product development, sales, and operations on launches, pricing, inventory, promotions, and sales enablement.
• Manage brand identity, external agency relationships, marketing performance, customer acquisition, retention, and budget allocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of marketing experience in the consumer goods industry; food experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of marketing principles, market research, consumer behavior, digital channels, social media, and analytics tools.
• Strong analytical, strategic, communication, project management, and budget management skills.
• Fluent Japanese and English proficiency required.
