Product Solutions Architect – Operations & Accounting (FinTech)

What you will do

• Define standard configurations, reference architectures, and best-practice workflows for SimCorp One operations and accounting implementations.
• Advise operations leaders, accounting teams, and transformation sponsors on trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, collateral, and accounting capabilities.
• Help clients increase straight-through processing, reduce operational risk, improve reconciliation efficiency, and achieve accurate settlement and reporting.
• Bring market intelligence, regulatory trends, and implementation learnings into product strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Identify cross-client patterns and convert them into reusable configurations or productization opportunities.
• Train and enable implementation teams on operations and accounting standards.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in solution architecture, product management, solution engineering, or senior client-facing roles focused on investment operations and accounting.
• Deep knowledge of trade lifecycle processing across asset classes, operational controls, and reconciliation processes.
• Strong understanding of collateral and margin management, settlement models including T+1, and regulatory and financial accounting frameworks such as IFRS and local GAAP.
• Experience driving high straight-through processing rates and reducing manual intervention in complex operating environments.
• Ability to advise operations leaders and accounting heads, defend best-practice operating models, and translate client requirements into product and implementation guidance.
