TL;DR
Senior Cloud Engineer (Terraform, AWS/Azure): Designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure with an accent on automation, data lifecycle management, performance, cost, and security. Focus on provisioning infrastructure with Terraform, configuring networks and firewall policies, and monitoring and troubleshooting cloud environments.
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia
Salary: Minimum EUR 3,000 gross per month for a full-time position; final compensation depends on qualifications.

What you will do
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS, and/or Azure.
- Collaborate with data engineers on DataOps processes and efficient data lifecycle management.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost efficiency, and security.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
- Configure networks, firewall rules, and security policies while applying current cloud best practices.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience with Terraform and AWS and/or Azure.
- Strong understanding of data lifecycles and experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Linux and a basic understanding of Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of network configuration, firewall rules, and security policies.
- Fluent English is required.
Nice to have
- German at approximately B2 level.
- Experience with additional cloud providers.
- Knowledge of Databricks on any hyperscaler.
