Cloud Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia

Salary: EUR 2,800–4,600 per month for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do

• Build, manage, and improve a shared application hosting platform in Azure using Kubernetes.
• Develop infrastructure as code and automate platform and operational processes.
• Maintain managed PaaS capabilities including automated secret, storage, and identity management.
• Support application migrations to the public cloud and optimize existing cloud setups.
• Ensure platform stability and operability while participating in an on-call rotation approximately once every two months.
• Collaborate on cloud infrastructure, innovation, and data-driven initiatives with colleagues across international offices.

Requirements

• Experience with Kubernetes and application hosting.
• Experience with public cloud platforms, primarily Azure.
• Knowledge of API and CLI interfaces.
• Knowledge of Golang and Bash or PowerShell.
• Background in software engineering or application design.
• Passion for learning and innovation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of or interest in Pulumi for infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of or interest in platform and application security.
• Experience working in corporate or enterprise technical environments.
