TL;DR
Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS/Azure): Building and operating secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for managed customer environments on AWS and Azure with an accent on Kubernetes, Terraform automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and reliability. Focus on hardening production systems, troubleshooting customer-facing incidents, shaping cloud platform architecture, and applying AI to infrastructure code, runbooks, and incident triage.
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work setup
Salary: From €4,800 gross/month, with the final offer based on qualifications and experience.

What you will do
- Provision, configure, upgrade, operate, and monitor cloud infrastructure and services across AWS and Azure.
- Own Terraform modules and automation for managed customer environments.
- Install and operate open-source and in-house platform tooling.
- Troubleshoot customer-facing production issues with support and delivery teams.
- Build and harden infrastructure, improve resilience, reduce manual work, and close reliability gaps.
- Shape the Cloud Platform architecture and apply AI tooling to infrastructure code, runbooks, and incident triage.
Requirements
- Production experience managing Kubernetes clusters, deploying applications, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability.
- Strong Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Experience with AWS or Azure and scalable, secure cloud systems.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, Prometheus, Grafana, cloud networking, DNS, load balancers, ingress, VPNs, and private connectivity.
- Clear English communication with customers and non-infrastructure stakeholders is required.
- Senior-level ownership, mentoring, independent scoping, technical decision-making, and participation in a 12/7 on-call rotation.
Nice to have
- Full proficiency with both AWS and Azure.
- Technical initiative leadership, Helm, and PostgreSQL administration.
- Cloud security and compliance experience, such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
