2027 BOLT Intern - Project Management (Energy)

Location: Hybrid in Houston, Texas, with Birmingham, Alabama as an alternate work location; open to travel in the United States.

hirify.global is a large North American energy infrastructure company operating pipelines and terminals that transport and store natural gas, petroleum products, renewable fuels, chemicals, and other materials.

What you will do

• Support project managers in the development and execution of natural gas facility projects.
• Assist with projects involving high-pressure transmission pipelines, compression, gathering, treating, and processing.
• Perform engineering calculations and review construction drawings.
• Complete project scoping plans, cost estimates, and financial forecasts.
• Gain on-site experience supporting ongoing construction activities.
• Present a summary of the internship to department management, senior business leaders, and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Working toward a bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, electrical, petroleum, or chemical engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams in an academic, professional, or personal setting.
• Strong interpersonal, computer, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to speak publicly in front of groups.
• Must be able to work in the United States and travel within the United States.
