QA Automation Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Cebu or Manila, Philippines

What you will do

• Design and implement automated testing strategies across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Develop repeatable end-to-end test suites using Playwright and modern testing frameworks.
• Execute performance and security testing to improve system resilience and reliability at scale.
• Champion quality-first practices, mentor engineers, and improve testing processes and tooling.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline optimization and provide quality metrics and risk insights to stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on QA automation experience in complex software environments.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and the Node.js ecosystem.
• Experience with Playwright, Page Object Model, and other automation design patterns.
• Strong background in CI/CD tools and API testing methodologies.
• Database experience with PostgreSQL and cloud platform experience with AWS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and agile collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-driven solutions.
• Experience in payments, banking, financial services, or fintech.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and security testing principles.
