Equipment Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Trujillo, Spain; on-site. Training in the United States and ad-hoc short-term international travel to the U.S. are required.

Salary: €35,000–€50,000 per year

What you will do

• Install, commission, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot plasma reactors and other critical manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose industrial control and electrical systems, including high-voltage power supplies, controllers, sensors, pumps, PLCs, and valves.
• Track equipment uptime and downtime, perform root cause analysis, and monitor overall equipment effectiveness and mean time between failures.
• Plan and execute equipment upgrades and retrofits with manufacturing technicians to improve reliability and process capabilities.
• Write procedures and checklists and assist with maintenance training.
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers across Spain and the United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• At least 2 years of hands-on engineering experience with manufacturing equipment.
• Project planning and management skills and the ability to solve complex problems in multidisciplinary teams.
• Availability to complete a training period in the United States and travel internationally to the U.S. for project needs.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
