Senior Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be located in Poland and willing to commute to the office in Katowice or Gdańsk. Occasional business trips abroad may be required.

Salary: UOP 12,000–16,000 PLN gross/month; B2B 100–140 PLN net/hour.

What you will do

• Develop data engineering workflows and jobs alongside developers and data engineers.
• Maintain and debug data pipelines and other data infrastructure components.
• Migrate to and update AWS services, including data-related services.
• Perform regression testing and automate repetitive activities.
• Take ownership of developed code and automation, and review colleagues’ code in an IaC environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with SQL, including complex queries.
• Basic knowledge of AWS data services such as S3, Glue, and Athena.
• Experience working with Agile methods and collaborating in a team.
• English at B2/C1 level.
• EU citizenship and residence in Poland are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Bash.
• Ability to draw basic diagrams.
