What you will do

• Support initiatives involving the planning, design, operation, maintenance, and modernization of the electric system.
• Contribute to assignments involving transmission and distribution infrastructure, substations, protection and control systems, and system planning.
• Support reliability initiatives and grid modernization programs.
• Apply academic learning to real-world technical, operational, and business challenges.
• Collaborate with professionals across teams and business functions.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, and key learnings during the internship.

Requirements

• Be a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor's degree, or a first-year master's student with at least one semester remaining before graduation.
• Pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Demonstrate interest in the applicable engineering field and the energy industry.
• Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and communicate findings effectively.
• Preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Nice to have

• Academic focus or experience related to protection and controls, testing and commissioning, system planning, transmission engineering, distribution engineering, or electric operations.
