What you will do
- Perform as Principal Bass Trombone in the Concert Orchestra.
- Double on Tenor Trombone when required.
- Deliver excellent solo and orchestral performances while maintaining high musical standards.
- Participate fully in orchestra sessions, broadcasts, recordings, concerts, education activities, and community programmes.
- Travel throughout the UK and undertake touring.
- Work evening and weekend schedules when required.
Requirements
- Excellent professional orchestral and solo playing ability.
- Knowledge of the Concert Orchestra's repertoire.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build harmonious working relationships with diverse colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining the orchestra's reputation and supporting a diverse team.
- Preparedness to perform at the start of every session and ability to plan parts effectively.
- Awareness of health and safety issues.
