Operator 2 (Gas Pipelines)

What you will do

• Operate and maintain processing plants, compressor stations, gas compressors, pumps, and related equipment.
• Measure and record production, equipment readings, downtime, and completed activities.
• Perform minor repairs and assist with major repairs on compressors and other equipment.
• Respond to callouts, support mechanical and measurement personnel, and coordinate with contractors.
• Maintain equipment efficiency, product quality, company vehicles, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Work with safety as a priority while operating in outdoor, industrial, hazardous, and confined-area environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience and general knowledge of compressor stations, gathering systems, and processing plant operations.
• Good verbal and written communication, customer service, basic mathematics, sound judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Valid state operating license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, carry, climb, walk extensively, work at heights and in confined areas, and handle physically demanding conditions.
• Must pass required SCBA fit testing and screening; DOT drug and alcohol testing may apply.
