Quality Professional in Projects (Energy)

Location: Hybrid remote/office in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

What you will do

• Lead quality management activities across North American Grid Technologies Service projects.
• Conduct project risk assessments, define mitigation strategies, and monitor quality activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and perform internal and supplier audits, prepare reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Manage non-conformity detection, containment, root cause analysis, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with project managers to integrate quality into schedules, budgets, and scope baselines, and provide dashboards on risks, non-conformities, supplier quality, and tollgate outcomes.
• Deliver quality training and coaching while analyzing performance data to identify defects, trends, and process optimization opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, quality management, business, construction management, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in project quality management, quality assurance, quality control, project management, manufacturing, risk management, construction, or engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems, including experience with internal and supplier audits.
• Strong communication, time-management, attention-to-detail, quality metrics, dashboard, data-analysis, and MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint.
• Experience in energy, utility, infrastructure, EPC, transmission, distribution, or substation projects is preferred.
• U.S. employment authorization is required; current or future employer-sponsored work authorization is not supported.
