Java Developer/Architect (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Design, build, integrate, test, implement, and maintain Java applications and microservices in distributed systems.
• Develop SOAP and REST web services and enterprise middleware interfaces.
• Contribute to requirements, design, prototyping, development, troubleshooting, and other stages of the software delivery lifecycle.
• Work with business and IT stakeholders to analyze designs, application code, frameworks, status, and recommendations.
• Provide technical direction and support team members on highly visible assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent education and experience.
• 8+ years of IT software development experience, including Java, J2EE, frontend technologies, and fullstack development.
• 5+ years of Java web services development with SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, JSON, J2EE, and SOA.
• Experience with IBM WMB, WAS, MQ, middleware technologies, and Oracle databases.
• Experience with Oracle Point of Sale applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, prioritization, and status-reporting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, AWS, Azure, Node, Big Data, Cloud Foundry, Angular, or React/Flux.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Agile SDLC and Test-Driven Development.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
