QA Engineer (Satellite Software)

Location: Hybrid in Denver, Colorado. Applicants must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required U.S. authorizations.

Compensation: $95K–$115K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own functional, integration, exploratory, and regression testing for product features and workflows.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites based on requirements and customer mission workflows.
• Test mission-critical workflows such as contact planning, collision avoidance, task automation, and incident management.
• Test web applications, REST APIs, backend workflows, and user-facing functionality.
• Investigate, reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution using logs, observability tools, and browser developer tools.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to identify edge cases and use automation and AI-assisted tools to improve testing depth and efficiency.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
• Strong manual testing experience across functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Experience translating product requirements and user workflows into structured test plans and test cases.
• Experience with test management platforms such as Rally, Zephyr, TestRail, Xray, or similar.
• Experience testing web applications, complex production systems, and REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or curl.
• Familiarity with Git, application logs, browser developer tools, and modern software development workflows.
