2027 Summer Internship – Electrical Engineering (Fontana/Redlands)

Location: Hybrid position based at an SCE facility in Fontana, California, with remote work on remaining days; employees are generally required to reside in California. The 12-week internship starts in May or June 2027 and ends in August or September 2027. Relocation or housing support does not apply.

Salary: $23.50–$34.00

What you will do

• Work on real-world challenges within the utility and energy sector.
• Collaborate with a mentor and cross-functional project teams.
• Apply electrical engineering knowledge using industry-relevant software and tools.

• Present the assigned internship project at the annual Intern Expo.
• Protect physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, medical, and proprietary information assets.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering at an accredited institution.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must generally reside in California for the hybrid work arrangement.
• Transcripts will be verified during onboarding.
