Senior Fullstack Developer (AI)

Location: Remote within Europe only; occasional on-site visits may be required. Preference for Western Europe, with candidates from Eastern Europe also considered.

Develops an AI-powered platform for user, role, permission, identity verification, rewards, and financial-tool management.

What you will do

• Own architectural decisions for a large, actively evolving codebase in a compliance- and finance-sensitive domain.
• Extend the generic-entity and schema system across 11 role-specific overlays without regressions.
• Lead integrations with SmartSearch, Salesforce, Xero, Pannovate, and SendGrid, including graceful handling of partial failures.
• Review code with a security-first focus on authorization and access-control gaps.
• Maintain the project's Memory Bank and feature-level documentation.
• Participate in on-call and production support, with future mentoring and technical-guardrail responsibilities.

Requirements

• Senior fullstack development experience with Next.js, TypeScript, tRPC, PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM, and Zod.
• Experience with schema- or metadata-driven system design and JSONB-based PostgreSQL modeling.
• Strong understanding of authorization and access-control security.
• Experience integrating multiple third-party APIs and handling partial failures reliably.
• Comfort with Docker, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and Azure Container Apps.
• Upper-intermediate English, B2+; client-facing communication is required.

Nice to have

• Readiness to progress toward a Team Lead position.
• Experience mentoring engineers and establishing technical guardrails for AI-assisted development.
