DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Hyderabad, India; onsite role

What you will do

• Automate deployments, configuration management, capacity management, and repetitive infrastructure tasks.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot production applications and related IT systems.
• Develop internal tools and procedures to improve infrastructure stability and performance.
• Respond to production issues and support secure, scalable, fault-tolerant cloud-based web architecture.
• Gather, analyze, and report IT system data while providing status feedback to developers and stakeholders.
• Define infrastructure standards, support system administration functions, deliver technical training, and complete IT projects.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in DevOps or related infrastructure engineering.
• Intermediate programming and scripting knowledge, including Python and Java.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, TCP/IP networking, and DNS.
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Hudson, or TeamCity, and build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and ability to troubleshoot, document, and improve IT systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, project management, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tomcat, Redis, Solr, Nginx, or Nirvana Messaging.
• Experience with Chef, Puppet, or Ansible for configuration and continuous delivery.
• Experience working with Docker containers and Kubernetes.
