Sr DevOps Engineer

Location: Bengaluru; hybrid work with in-person attendance at an assigned hirify.global office at least two days per week.

What you will do

• Design, provision, configure, and deliver cloud infrastructure environments using automation best practices.
• Automate infrastructure builds and operational processes across cloud environments.
• Develop improvements and maintain, monitor, and optimize production and non-production systems for efficiency and security.
• Automate the full SDLC lifecycle for application and infrastructure-as-code workloads.
• Build automation for business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Participate in a rotational 24x7 on-call schedule and lead root cause analysis for service performance incidents.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and provisioning with Kubernetes YAML, Helm, or Terraform.
• Proficiency with monitoring and debugging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubectl.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, including pods, services, volumes, deployments, operators, and stateful sets.
• Experience with AWS or GCP cloud environments.
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong scripting, coding, critical-thinking, organization, and communication skills.
