Principal Software Engineer (FinTech)

Location: Manila, Philippines; hybrid work arrangement with office attendance two days per week. Flexible APAC shift hours with a few hours of overlap with EMEA.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and continuously enhance applications and continuous delivery pipelines for SimCorp Dimension cloud products.
• Build and improve end-to-end automation supporting product development, testing, and release at scale.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager, Product Owner, System Architect, and other stakeholders to translate product vision into technical solutions.
• Contribute to technical vision, architecture, code quality, automated testing, and technical excellence.
• Research tools and frameworks, apply emerging technologies, and improve reliability and delivery capabilities.
• Mentor junior and mid-level colleagues and raise the technical bar across the team.

Requirements

• Professional software development experience with modern programming languages, primarily C#.
• Experience with CI/CD, build automation, software design patterns, unit and integration testing, and test-driven development.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code principles and practices.
• Proficiency with Git, TeamCity or a similar CI/CD tool, Azure, PowerShell, Cake, and Kotlin for backend services.
• Experience providing technical guidance, working in agile environments, and collaborating with international teams.
• Fluent English is required for written and spoken communication.
