Senior Site Reliability Engineer (FinTech)

Location: Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Philippines; hybrid work model with at least two days per week in the office. The schedule covers the Australian time zone from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM AEST, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.

What you will do

• Manage incidents and problems through technical diagnosis, recovery coordination, resolution, and follow-up.
• Test, plan, and deploy cloud-system changes to improve reliability and customer outcomes.
• Drive observability, automation, patching, vulnerability management, and capacity practices.
• Facilitate disaster recovery tests, business continuity activities, change events, and operational readiness exercises.
• Coordinate operational initiatives with engineering, security, product support, and customer delivery teams.
• Communicate incident impact, recovery status, risks, and next steps to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience supporting 24x7x365 mission-critical production environments in financial services, cloud operations, or managed services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI, along with Linux, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or AWS CloudWatch.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, and routing.
• Availability for a four-day schedule and hybrid office attendance in Bonifacio Global City, Philippines.

Nice to have

• Professional certification in AWS, Azure, or OCI.
• ITIL certification or equivalent service management experience.
• Financial services experience or knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL.
