Compensation/Payroll Analyst, Sales Planning Team

Location: Menara Skymind office, Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia; in-person work three days a week or more, with flexibility to work from home on other days

What you will do

• Support the design, testing, administration, and execution of sales compensation plans, including commission and bonus calculations.
• Maintain compensation databases, CRM data, quota tracking systems, and territory assignment documentation.
• Process compensation inquiries, resolve calculation discrepancies, and support data validation and quality assurance.
• Prepare compensation and sales performance reports, KPI dashboards, and month-end and quarter-end analyses.
• Support annual and quarterly sales planning, quota allocation, territory mapping, boundary analysis, and territory realignments.
• Create process documentation, user guides, training materials, and user support resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and data management skills.
• Knowledge of Xactly or equivalent compensation software.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems, data extraction, database concepts, and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis; familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools.

Nice to have

• SQL experience.
• Experience with compensation calculations or financial analysis.
• Background in data analysis and reporting.
