Assurance Manager (Real Estate)

Location: Phoenix, United States; willingness to travel 25% of the year depending on client needs.

Salary: $89,800–$170,500 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate audits of financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables for real estate clients.
• Assess engagement risks and design, communicate, and monitor audit procedures.
• Manage multiple engagement teams, supervise Audit Seniors and Supervisors, and monitor productivity and work-plan adherence.
• Review work products, evaluate performance, provide coaching, and support staff development.
• Maintain year-round client relationships, address concerns, identify performance improvements, and communicate accounting matters to senior leadership.
• Manage project profitability, support business development, and stay current with GAAP and firm standards.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or an equivalent degree.
• CPA or CA certification.
• 5+ years of current or recent experience in a public accounting environment.
• At least 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience across multiple engagements.
• Knowledge of audit services, GAAP, GAAS, and FASB or IFRS regulations.
• Experience leading teams, mentoring associates, and building profitable, sustainable client relationships.
