Sr Manager SALT Real Property Tax

Location: Dallas, United States

Salary: $141,900–$284,900 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Manage real property value notices and assessments, including timely appeals of overvalued assessments.
• Consult on property tax reviews, abatements, appeals, compliance, and related client strategies.
• Research tax issues, communicate legislative changes, and prepare and deliver client presentations.
• Develop, mentor, train, and provide performance feedback to team members.
• Coordinate work assignments, project completion, client billing, and detailed calculations.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and participate in networking and practice growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
• At least seven years of property tax compliance and consulting experience in public accounting, consulting, law, or a private company.
• CPA, CMI, JD, or a property tax designation from the state where the work is performed.
• In-depth knowledge of real property tax laws, regulations, and filings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience with real property tax software such as PTMS or Appeal Track.
