Sustaining Engineering Intern

Crane manufactures highly engineered components and maintains XOMOX-branded quarter-turn valves for corrosive and toxic chemical processing applications.

What you will do

• Research and approve or reject deviation requests from production, suppliers, and foundries.
• Build product knowledge through project ownership, specification reviews, shop-floor walks, and discussions with senior personnel.
• Create and maintain design, testing, and project documentation according to company procedures.
• Prepare engineering test reports, bulletins, drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
• Provide product fit, form, and function support to business groups.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology.
• Problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Focus on design quality.
