SME Strategic Communications Analyst

Location: On-site in El Segundo, California, United States. US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are required.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with DoD and U.S. Space Force policies.
• Support the Space Sensing Chief of Staff as a member of the SET team.
• Draft point papers, briefings, articles, press releases, and responses to Congressional, headquarters, and media requests.
• Use TMT and Microsoft Office to initiate, track, and close directorate, SSC, and Space Force Command taskers.
• Create communication plans and products for space development programs and launch campaigns.
• Assemble electronic Staff Summary Sheet packages, support senior meetings, and advise leadership on deliverable status.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Federal Government acquisition, including DoD, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, or NASA programs.
• Expert knowledge of the Space Force/Air Force acquisition environment, TMT, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
• Master’s degree required in business, management, economics, science, technology, engineering, or statistics; a bachelor’s degree is also required.
• US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance required.

Nice to have

• Five years of recent Space Program experience.
• Background in mathematics, engineering, or the sciences.
