Data Engineering Manager (Financial Services)

Location: Miami, Florida, United States; onsite 4 days per week

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a data engineering team supporting reporting, analytics, data science, AI, and data quality initiatives.
• Plan and manage delivery across multiple concurrent data initiatives, including sprint planning and backlog prioritization.
• Design, architect, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data pipelines, transformations, models, and workflows.
• Operate automated data jobs supporting data science, analytics, and reporting.
• Establish data quality frameworks with validation, reconciliation, monitoring, alerting, lineage, metadata management, and documentation.
• Partner with Analytics, Operations, and Business teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform development, or analytics engineering.
• 3–5+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Experience building enterprise data platforms for reporting and analytics.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, analytics engineering, and data operations.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and dbt, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; U.S. employment opportunities are generally limited to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
