What you will do

  • Design, coordinate, and execute genetics, genomics, and gene-editing research projects.
  • Perform wet-lab experiments using technologies such as CRISPR-Cas9, base editing, and related methods.
  • Process, analyze, interpret, organize, and visualize genomic datasets using bioinformatics and computational approaches.
  • Develop, optimize, and implement laboratory and computational protocols while evaluating alternative methods and tools.
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of experimental data and analyses.
  • Communicate findings through reports, presentations, manuscripts, and publications; maintain laboratory resources and mentor junior researchers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific area.
  • Eight years of relevant experience, or six years with a Master’s degree, or three years with a PhD.
  • Experience in genetics/genomics and gene-editing technologies, including CRISPR-Cas9 and base editing.
  • Bioinformatics or computational biology experience, particularly genomic data analysis.
  • Ability to work across wet-lab biology and computational biology disciplines.

Nice to have

  • Experience with prime editing.
  • Scientific contributions demonstrated through publications, project leadership, or impactful research outcomes.
