Application Engineer 4 (API)

Location: On-site in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, United States; United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required.

What you will do

• Develop, test, deploy, and sustain web-based capabilities using Angular 14 or higher.
• Integrate user interfaces with REST endpoints, analyze JSON responses, and visualize data in single-page application dashboards.
• Create dashboard mockups and support new user interface development.
• Design software tools and subsystems, define application specifications, and manage implementation.
• Perform coding, debugging, documentation, quality assurance reviews, and software product evaluations.
• Support automation, continuous monitoring, assessment, approvals, and network data gathering for the Secure the Enterprise initiative.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• United States citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
• Eight years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience and education combinations ranging from four years with a doctorate to twelve years with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, REST APIs, and JSON data structures.
• Experience with Git, Git submodules, and GitLab for large-scale applications.
• UI technical leadership experience is required.
