Front End UI Developer (Angular)

What you will do

• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from functional specification through production support.
• Design and develop reliable, secure, scalable, extensible, performant, and reusable user interfaces.
• Support new services and features for deployed set-top boxes.
• Contribute to functional specifications, product design, and documentation.
• Participate in Agile planning and retrospective meetings, peer design reviews, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and evaluate new technologies for architectural applicability.

Requirements

• User interface development experience with Angular or a similar framework.
• Experience with HTML, jQuery, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with JSON and REST-based web services.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and Maven.
• Significant experience working in UNIX environments and delivering large-scale, high-traffic software systems.
• Experience with at least one enterprise application server environment, such as JBoss, Tomcat, or Jetty.

Nice to have

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet.
• Experience with big data systems, cloud storage, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
• Database experience, including basic knowledge of NoSQL or relational databases.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science.
